PREMIERE: The Ramona Flowers - Dismantle and Rebuild (D/R/U/G/S Remix)
Sweet nothing whispers, classic house builds and indie yowls should probably not play in the same sandbox. Also, stun gun reprieves, speed racer samples and fishtail bleeps should not saw into a yarn of folk weirdness until it unfurls in a bright wooly pile of EDM fluff. But then, we would not have Ramona Flowers re-envisioned by D/R/U/G/S on the aptly named “Dismantle and Rebuild.” So, open your mind and your ears to a gassed-up digi take that is so damn listenable precisely because it should not sound amazing, and yet, it does. Funny, that.
