If you combined The Distillers and The Sounds you might have something that sounds akin to Brooklyn trio Beast Patrol. The group, which just released its debut EP Fierce & Grateful via their own Space Camp Radio Records, draws on punk and pop influences to create aggressive, hook-laden rock songs led by singer/guitarist Vanessa Bley’s powerful yelp. “Disbeliever” comes off the EP – a punchy number replete with wide-eyed fervor and catchy riffs.
