On "Violent Cries," Los Angeles band Cold Showers stays stern and mopey. There's a heavy industrial element here, but it never overtakes the drone-laden melodies and across-the-factory guitars. The group's new severely-titled LP, Love And Regret, is out October 9 on Dais.
