London group Life In Film recorded its new EP, Needles & Pins, with Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur) after he heard some of the band’s early demos. The effort, which was released recently via Tell Your Friends/Sony, collects the group’s swaggering Brit rock. On the title track, you got a mid-tempo number that falls somewhere between The Smiths, The Kooks and Oasis. Which is to say, you’ll probably like it and the band could be huge here in the States.
