Michael Mayer is such an original gangster (in the German minimal techno sense of the phrase) that I will certainly forgive him for naming his upcoming LP Mantasy. Coming October 22, it's his first full-length in eight years, and the Kompakt honcho features WhoMadeWho's Jeppe Kjellberg on vocals on this teaser track "Good Times." According to Mayer, it's about inclusion and nightlife utopias. "Movies without a happy end are dumb," he says in the track announcement, which I could take issue with but I'm too busy swaying in my office chair.
