Beacon is an ethereal, moody electronic duo from Greenpoint, Brooklyn (represent!) that's like accidentally taking a downer that hits right at the peak of a club set. On "Feeling's Gone," there's a distant desperation – the pain of waiting, the isolation of longing, the uncertainty of traded glances that might mean nothing. There's some R&B, but it's mostly despondent electronic music that's like a cleaner, poppier version of '90s Warp acts. Their new one, an EP called For Now, is out October 2 via Ghostly.
