STREAM: The Black Keys - I Got Mine (TOBACCO Remix)
I go back-and-forth on the concept that a song can actually be finished. It's not just about remix culture. It's just that, maybe, songs are living things with different versions, eras, mixes, productions and viewpoints at different times. Take "I Got Mine" – 2008 song by The Black Keys that Black Moth Super Rainbow member TOBACCO turned ultra-psychedelic way back when and it never got released. The dusty ideas then became his own "Super Gum" (which features one of the weirdest videos of this era – seriously). And now, going back he's releasing the original remix, which, as our peers point out, just might be the best out of all of them.
