PREMIERE: Ten Kens - Mousetrap

Toronto group Ten Kens will unveil its third album, Namesake, on September 4. The band, originally formed by musicians Brett Paulin and Dan Workman, crafts a visceral landscape of noise and melody, focused less on traditional structure and more on the possibilities of sound. “Mousetrap,” which features Adrian Terrazas Gonzalez of The Mars Volta on tenor saxophone, is a meandering, layered prog-rocker that balances noise exploration with a hook-tinged melody.
