As each year passes, paying tribute to Aaliyah becomes more of a national pastime. This past weekend, the anniversary of her death back in 2001 was honored by tripped-out electronic producer Shlohmo, who put a delirious, screwed-out spin on the recent Aaliyah track that Drake put together. The whole thing feels like a fever dream.
