DOWNLOAD: The Everymen - Coney Island High
The Everymen are what might happen if The Distillers added horns to its lineup. The New Jersey punk group, led by singer Catherine Herrick, will release an aptly-titled new LP, New Jersey Hardcore, on October 9 via Killing Horse Records. “Coney Island High,” a ska-tinged punk rocker, comes off that album, which was produced by Mike Moebius in, of course, New Jersey. The riotous number packs a hefty punch, propelled in turn by clanging drums, bluesy saxophone, surging guitars and Herrick’s swaggering croon.
