STREAM: Mount Eerie - Ocean Roar
Mount Eerie, aka Phil Elverum aka The Microphones, is having quite a return-to-form in 2012. Clear Moon, his first LP of the year, was filled with patient grace and acoustic clarity, and now he's following it up with Ocean Roar, which is due September 4 on P.W. Elverum And Sun. Here, we get our first full taste with the album's title track, and it's basically stunning. The vocals alone, choral and expansive in nature, are making my eyes all misty. Highly recommended.
