The Sheepdogs, a rock band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, are among the cavalcade that has recently enlisted a member of The Black Keys to produce. The group’s new self-titled album, which comes out September 4 via Atlantic, was helmed by The Keys' Patrick Carney (as well as Austin Scaggs), and it’s clear why the musician was drawn to the group’s bluesy rock sound. On “Feeling Good,” The Sheepdogs dive straight into twanged-out, fuzzy rock ‘n’ roll that feels like a cousin of Kings of Leon and JEFF The Brotherhood.
