STREAM: Blaqk Audio - Faith Healer
Blaqk Audio, the electro-rock duo comprised of AFI’s Davey Havok and Jade Pudget, will release a new album, Big Black Heaven, on September 11. The effort follows the group’s 2007 debut, Cexcells, and pairs synth beats with Havok’s surging vocals and shared predilection for rock aesthetics. “Faith Healer” almost sounds like a cheery remix of an AFI tune. Havok and Pudget let the current EDM influx be their guides, expanding the sounds from Cexcells into more buoyant, accessible melodies.
