Up next from these Brooklyn manufacturers of dreamy indie-pop is Chris Cohen – a multi-instrumentalist you may know from stints with Deerhoof, Cass McCombs and Ariel Pink. "Optimist High" is pitch-perfect bedroom pop with memorable, timeless hooks and patiently jangling guitars. Simply, it should score your next road trip. His album, Overgrown Path, which was recorded all by his lonesome in rural Vermont, is out September 25.
