Toronto indie vets Stars will release their sixth album, The North, on September 4 via ATO Records – a follow-up to 2010’s lovely The Five Ghosts. “Hold On When You Get Love And Let Go When You Give It” is the second track to emerge from the new album – a soaring indie-pop number that aptly showcases the group’s signature back-and-forth between singers Torquil Campbell and Amy Millian. The glowing track has a distinct buoyancy that suggests the band may be heading in a lighter direction.
