It’s a tricky endeavor to attempt to remix a track as beautifully composed as "About You" by XXYYXX. Parisian teenage producer, Dream Koala, has done something that many would presume impossible and created a reworking of the original that is both unique to his own style and extremely inventive and sonorous. Hard to pin down with an overdone subgenre label, this brand of bass music feels extremely organic, chalk full of natural percussive sounds, soothing guitar riffs and a dreamy tempo that seems to be synced with waves lapping at the shore of a tropical sandy beach.
