Ron Basejam, aka James Baron from Crazy P, brings us this fresh new deep house rework of The White Lamp’s 'It’s You." Both the original artist and the remixer are represented by Futureboogie Records – a mainstay of forward-thinking dance music in the UK. Still relatively under wraps, The White Lamp doesn’t have a lot of personal info out there other than that it's a duo comprised of a London DJ/Producer and a Bristol-based vocalist and musician. In this lounge-house remix, Ron Basejam extends the track to eight minutes with a minimalistic but enticing approach, employing a funky bass line, piano stabs and acidy bleeps and bloops.
