There is something so lusciously yacht deck-ish about Teams’ “Love Distance.” It feels like cool breezes and gingery cocktails and, oh I don’t know, a gaggle of tan women dancing in shorts with their hair blowing everywhere and laughing at every joke you tell them? Art imitates life: this track was recorded in a mansion in Venice Beach by Star Slinger collaborator and Mishka-approved electropopper Sean Bowie, who likely lives just as we described. (Anyone with the last name Bowie lives just like that, we assume). Anywhoozle, it is very good, out on White Iris/iTunes and we are going to play it all flip-flop season long.
