Even when experimental duo jj drops a slew of f-bombs, it sounds how the herald angels sing. Perhaps it’s the Swedish-accented wisp through which they’re delivered, the melodic screw-down on which they bob and float, the harp-like quality of otherworldly instruments and samples for which they counter, or the atmospheric layering of tones between them that feel as though you’ve stumbled into a cloud.
