If you don’t grin maniacally while listening to Dragonette, you probably don’t have a mouth, and our collective hearts go out to you. It’s got to be hard to not have a mouth, for real. Even so, you probably at least still have ears, so go ahead and enjoy the thumper that is “Rocket Ship” to the fullest possible. The ‘80s FX (I swear there are a few bars from the closing credits of Heathers in there), dicey riffs and cheeky vox create a marathon of optimistic electropop guaranteed to put a bounce in your step. As will the rest of Bodyparts, out September 25.
