If you don’t recognize the band name Right Away, Great Captain!, you will certainly recognize the musician behind it. The project, which will release its new album, The Church Of The Good Thief, this week, is a solo outlet for Manchester Orchestra frontman Andy Hull. You can get a sense of the LP, the third in a narrative trilogy, on “I Am Aware" – a subtle, hushed number that aptly pairs lyrical introspection and slight acoustic guitar. It offers a lesser-seen side to Hull, a musician who always knows how to turn a guitar riff and his voice into compelling drama.
