Here's one we weren't necessarily expecting but makes perfect sense: Looping songstress Julianna Barwick has teamed with Latin electro-folker Roberto Carlo Lange (better known as Helado Negro) to form OMBRE. The duo's first single, "Cara Falsa," is gorgeously opaque with Barwick's august voice peeking through the ruminative clouds. The duo's first full-length, Believe You Me, is out August 21 on Asthmatic Kitty.
