Athens, GA group White Violet is the new project from musician Nate Nelson, who has released several solo efforts and played with artists like Maria Taylor and Nik Freitas. The group will release its debut, Hiding, Mingling, which was produced by Andy Lemaster, on August 14 via Normaltown Records. “Lays Around Lazy” is first track to emerge from the album – a pensive indie-folk number that pairs glittering guitar lines with Nelson’s emotive croon.
