Remix albums must challenge Bravo reality shows for earning collective eye-rolls from the public, but sometimes a good one comes around that's worth exploring. Son Lux is heading in that direction with We Are Rising Remixed – a complete reinvention of his 2011 LP that gets you great new music while donating 100 percent of the proceeds to charity. On the Alias remix to "Flickers," everything is watery, patient and clinical – like a disembodied hymn plotted-out in the middle of the night. The record is out tomorrow (May 15) via the good folks at Anticon.
