New York’s Grand Rapids, a self-described 'country-garage band,' formed back in 2009 and have since played with groups like Surfer Blood and Chairlift. The band will release its debut single, “Feels Like A Lifetime,” on May 21 via Too Pure Records, but you can score the effort’s A-side here right now. The number is a raw, twangy rocker propelled by a gritty vocal melody and hollow, loose production. In a lot of ways, it does actually seem to fit the band’s own description of itself.
