DOWNLOAD: Sacred Animals Vs Steffaloo - On Fire
Real talk: a friend of mine just died suddenly and this aching bit of tundra indiepop from Dublin’s Sacred Animals (in collaboration with Steffaloo) is just about the only thing that can soothe me at the moment. Its ethereal gleam is enveloping, rocking, moving, and as sad as it may seem it is also enormously lovely and liberating. Like an abandoned beach or what it felt like the first time, as a kid, you came home to find an empty house. This haunting song purports to be a meditation on the joys of life but to me it seems a cyclical celebration of all that is both good and bad because that is what it means to be a part of anything, everything. Contemplate the word at will below or find the original right here. Somewhere in there might be the answer.
