STREAM: The Gaslight Anthem - 45
New Jersey rockers The Gaslight Anthem will release a follow-up to its popular third album, 2010's American Slang, this summer. The effort, titled Handwritten and produced by Brendan O’Brien, is set to come out July 24 via Mercury Records. “45” is the lead single – a rollicking throwback rock number that perpetuates the group’s signature grit-laden melodies. It’s sort of a sequel to the band’s breakout hit, “The ’59 Sound,” although here the sound is even more expansive. Bruce Springsteen would be pleased.
