With Hot Chip, you know you're gonna dance and it's gonna be smart and the breakdowns are gonna have all sorts of fun squelching noises and little references to silky R&B. "Night And Day," their new one, is simply a more refined version of what the band does so well. The structure is novel and exciting with a few left-hand turns and vocal flips, but it pretty much does exactly what you want.
