PREMIERE: Birthmark - Shake Hands
Birthmark, the project of one Nate Kinsella from Joan Of Arc and Make Believe, will release its third album, Antibodies, on May 15 via Polyvinyl. The effort is a collection of pensive indie-folk numbers that feel like Bon Iver's cousin. “Shake Hands” is a particularly complex track, featuring an expansive string part with Kinsella’s emotive vocals playing off of the swooping cello and violins.
