MIXTAPE: Blu - No York E Mo Work
Blu plays by his own rules, which tends to not be the favorite thing of major labels looking to shoehorn rappers into a singles-or-bust mindset. That's why he randomly dropped his blocked major label debut, NoYork!, on YouTube last August with no fanfare and just released a remix album surrounding that material entitled No York E Mo Work (RMX Z 1.3) on his Bandcamp sans warning. The series of nine tracks features Knxwledge, Suzi Analogue, Von Pea and P.U.D.G.E., plus some eyebrow raising cover art.
