Massachusetts hardcore band No Trigger formed back in 2000, finally releasing their debut album, Canyoneer, in 2006. Now the group has offered up its sophomore effort, Tycoon, via No Sleep Records. “Permanent" showcases the band’s signature hardcore punk sound, reminiscent of Strike Anywhere and early Rise Against. It’s a gritty, propulsive pummeler that makes you wonder why most punk bands nowadays need such slick production.
