Mike Norris, perhaps best known for playing keyboards in the live version of La Roux, has gone solo under the moniker Fort Romeau and released one of the best dance tracks I've heard so far this year. That would be "Jack Rollin'" – a mishmash of UK trendiness, classic house and footwork into a explosive, club-ready song that bursts with warmth and atmosphere. His debut LP, Kingdoms, comes March 6 on 100% Silk.
