On The RCRD: Cloud Nothings

While getting you the finest new jams to listen to will always be our main squeeze, sometimes it's good to gain a little context into our favorite artists – a quick view into their brain that might demonstrate why we love their sounds so much. That's the idea behind our new series On The RCRD. We use a flip on the classic Proust Questionnaire and let our favorites, well, do whatever with it.
Up first is Dylan Baldi of Cloud Nothings. The band's new record, Attack On Memory, came out this week on Carpark, packing an aggressive wallop filled with razor guitars, howls and drums so huge you might think Napoleon was back in the game and his army was coming 'round the corner. Baldi's turn from a sweet, lo-fi bedroom pop to a dark, full-band atmosphere has been one of the more pleasant surprises of 2012, so check out exactly where his mind is at and grab a few free tracks in the process.
