In the same fey, melodic and ever-so-slightly nauseous vein as compatriots Gross Magic come Virals, with their track "Magic Happens." The band is the new project from Shaun Hencher, the main guy from Lovvers, and though this maybe lacks the venom of Hencher's day job, it makes up for it with a sense of feral, suburban serendipity not un-akin to that possessed by The Nerves, Four Volts or even The Murder City Devils (at their absolute minciest). Pick this up through Sexbeat from January 30.
