I don't know about you guys, but nothing screams "Christmas" to me like walking along a suburban high street on New Year's Eve and seeing a bunch of dudes whose dads' dads' dads went to Peru once miming along to a panpipe tape. No? OK, maybe I'm just a traditionalist with a heart like scented soap, but here CFCF manages to reinterpret both Active Child AND the exotic lilt of the panpipes in a way that I'm sure you'll all be able to get behind. It's right at the end, mind, so you'll have to sit through almost four whole minutes of blissful, Reich-ian electro-minimalism to get there. Bummer!
