British rockers Tribes are a fairly new band, formed only last year. The London four-piece’s debut EP, We Were Children, came out recently via Universal Republic and conjures up a welcome combination of Oasis and Clinic. “We Were Children,” from the EP and the band’s upcoming album Baby, is a surging indie rock burner built from hypnotic guitars, moody vocals and a hint of Brit-rock swagger.
