T. Mills isn’t a household name just yet, but the 22-year-old rapper from Riverside, California is well on his way to mainstream success. After building a steady following by posting his self-recorded music on MySpace (his “Stupid Boy” video has 2.1 million YouTube views), he inked a deal with Columbia Records early this year and released the free EP Leaving Home. One of the album’s most popular cuts is the single “Vans On” – a catchy blend of pop and rap melodies that combines a love for sneakers and sex into a massive anthem. Mills is currently gearing-up to drop his major label debut in 2012.
