St. Louis musician Kristeenyoung, who is currently opening for Morrissey on tour, penned her new EP, V The Volcanic, about supporting characters in films. “I’ll Get You Back" is a noisy, jangly glam rock number exploring a character in The Wizard of Oz. And no, we're not talking Dorothy. This one's about the Angry Apple Tree. The track forms an edgy, compelling cacophony of drums, piano and vocals, and the raw recording lends to the sense of unease.
