Oftentimes, I have pondered the revival of gladiatorial ceremonies in Western culture. Except it'd be a "lite" version, so instead of guys killing each other, you'd have species of animals with no natural reason to have encountered one another in the wild getting introduced for the first time. The way I see it, if you put an animal in that situation, it's eventually going to have to respond in one of three ways: either it ignores the other animal, it tries to fuck it or it's gonna have to kill and maybe eat it. I've pondered this a lot, and I'm pondering it again now, because this chamber-synth Hype Williams remix of Miracle's "Good Love" sounds a lot like two unfamiliar creatures trying to suss each other out. I'm also pondering it again now because it's the middle of the night at the time of writing and I don't really have anything else to be thinking about.
