Marvelous Darlings is the side project from Fucked Up guitarist Ben Cook, who initiated the project back in 2007 alongside Matt Delong and Mark Fosco. The group’s collection of singles, fittingly titled Single Life, is out this week via Deranged Records and includes numerous rare and out of print tracks. This song, “I Don't Wanna Go To The Party,” is a raw, invigorated power-pop number filled with energized riffs and a thick static buzz. The title? Yeah, it's a bit dishonest. This one actually makes you want to go to the party.
