"Mother" soundtracks a trailer for a film that The Golden Filter have made with Norwegian director Kristoffer Borgli called S Y N D R O M E S (yes, with the spaces). What's it about? Well, as far as I can tell, it's about a girl who has the sort of talent that makes the lizard-people of the New World Order come knock on your door. Talents, if the trailer's to be believed, like walking down the road looking a bit moody and setting stuffed animals on fire with your eyes. I'm sure that anyone who possesses similar powers will empathise with that, while the rest of us proles will just have to sit here and marvel at the alien sounds of Au Palais' remix, which sounds kinda like The Knife but not really like much else I've ever heard.
