British rockers The Wombats offered their sophomore effort, This Modern Glitch, back in April via Bright Antenna. A track from that album, “Our Perfect Disease,” was recently released as a singles EP and “IOU’s” is a B-side from that one (we know, it’s confusing but worth it). This number showcases the Liverpool group’s thick post-punk style as frontman Matthew Murphy yelps through the static-laced indie pop instrumental, somehow infusing the heavy guitars and beats with levity. Be warned: it may lead you to a dance floor.
