Corridor, a Los Angeles trio formed by musician Michael Quinn, releases its second album, Real Late, this week via Manimal Vinyl. The album is a hypnotic collection of thickly layered math-rock numbers, and “Roam Room” is a perfect example of this aesthetic. It builds a static-tinged psych-rock landscape out of a lone acoustic guitar line that becomes equally strange and compelling – a variety of elements joining to make an eclectic, occasionally experimental number that somehow manages to still be catchy.
