PREMIERE: Owen – Too Many Moons

Owen, the moniker for musician Mike Kinsella’s solo act, is hushed and introspective, creating the sort of intimate music that makes you slow it all down and quietly listen. “Too Many Moons,” which we’re premiering from Owen’s upcoming new effort Ghost Town, is an emotive, acoustic number that will inevitably stir something inside you with its longing verses and string-accompanied melody. It’s sort of like reading a diary belonging to Kinsella, who has played in numerous bands, including Cap'n Jazz, Joan of Arc, and American Football, except that it sounds prettier.
