Preservation is the first album from Philly rapper/writer Dice Raw's trilogy The Greatest Rapper Never, which will soon include the follow-up LPs Transformation and The Realization (via Raw Life). On the first installment, Dice – who won a Grammy Award for his work on The Roots’ 1999 single “You Got Me” and co-wrote several tracks on their latest album undun – displays his keen storytelling abilities. The melodic, piano-driven single finds Dice musing on the way “Time Flies," not only when you're having fun, but also when things go haywire.
