Amor de Días, the duo of Alasdair MacLean from The Clientele and Lupe Núñez-Fernández of Pipas, turns out music that's surprisingly natural considering its resolute blending of genres. "Bunhill Fields" puts Núñez-Fernández's soft, whispery voice front-and-center over a beat that alternates between bossa nova and tinny techno. Cellos stop by for a bit, trumpets sing with the chorus and sometimes the song swells with the sort of twisty, psychedelic '60s guitar that fans of The Clientele already know so well.
