Bay Area trio The Trophy Fire has just released its second disc, Armor, a follow-up to 2008’s A Lifetime In The Middle Of The Ocean. The six-song EP, released via Greyday Records, features catchy rock numbers that may sound familiar if you’re a frequent viewer of 16 And Pregnant. We’d argue that tracks like propulsive rocker “Modern Hearts,” which offers a sampling of the EP’s jaunty hooks, belong with a bigger audience than reality TV viewers. Although, to be fair, that audience is pretty big.
