DOWNLOAD: The Morning Clouds - Ends
The Morning Clouds feels like that too-early moment when you first walk outside in search of coffee. Some surroundings are clear and refreshed, but pangs of your dreamworld keep creeping back. "Ends," a track off the band's debut EP Wasted Youth Blues out now on Lefse, is lethargic in the best way -- a slowburner with graceful, arpeggiating guitars and swooning, '50s AM radio vocal melodies. A clear album closer, the song eventually swells with guitars like something off of OK Computer. Even if you think you are, you're not fully awake yet.
