Irvine, CA rock band Thrice has come a long way since the release of its debut, Identity Crisis, in 2001. The band’s latest disc, Major/Minor, is its seventh full-length and a notable evolution from the melodic hardcore of that formative record. “Words In The Water,” an emotive alt-rock number, showcases Thrice's progression. The new record, which is available now via Vagrant Records, proves these guys still rock. Just with a different kind of heaviness.
