Tabi Bonney’s upcoming album The Summer Years (via Dame Dash's Bluroc Records) was produced entirely by North Carolina native Ski Beatz, who has crafted songs for everyone from Jay-Z to Curren$y. For the braggadocious single “Winner’s Parade,” Ski laced the DMV rapper and video director with a percussion-filled beat that's layered with drum claps. Over it, Bonney targets the haters he’ll have to sidestep on his way to the top. Singer Nicole Wray, most popular for her work with Missy Elliott and her 1998 single “Make It Hot," lends her vocals to the chorus.
